I nominate last night's game with the thrilling 10th inning victory by the Dodgers, putting the Cubs back in their rightful place atop the division, as the game of the year. The only thing the Cards will have to play come October is their banjos as they retreat to their Ozark hollers for the winter.

This is the first and last time I will troll on you. Mike's a good friend and baseball teammate of mine, so I check this site frequently. As a lifelong Cub fan, you can imagine how nauseating it is to see paeans to the Cards day after day. So I had to do it once. Your posts do feature good, if a little over the top homer, writing. The main thing is to have fun with it, though, right?

Go Cubs!
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('13262','Cary Allen','I nominate last night\'s game with the thrilling 10th inning victory by the Dodgers, putting the Cubs back in their rightful place atop the division, as the game of the year.
