Tuesday, May 1st – The Kansas City Monarchs continue their series with the Memphis Red Sox at Lewis Park. Memphis won the opening game 6-3, and teams then split a double header on Sunday.

In a battle of Bell vs. Bell on the mound, the Kansas City Monarchs even the series at two games apiece with an 8-3 victory over the Red Sox.

The Monarchs scores all their runs off of Julian Bell, knocking him out in the 6th inning. Carl Glass relieved and pitched 3 1/3 scoreless innings. Bullet Rogan was the hitting star, going 3 for 5 with 2 RBI.
