So, the criteria we chose were:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; Minimum 500 career Plate Appearances<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Minimum 13.5% career BB%<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Minimum 125 career wRC+<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8211; Younger than 35 years old today (Feb 23, 2011)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.baseballrealitytour.com\/2011\/02\/patience-power.html\">posted the list on BAseball Reality Tour<\/a>, but wanted to share more numbers here at Seamheads.<\/p>\n<p>Albert Pujols: 13.5 BB%, 169 wRC+, 31 years old<br \/>\nAdam Dunn: 16.3 BB%, 131 wRC+, 31 yo<br \/>\nJason Heyward: 14.6 BB%, 134 wRC+, 21 yo<br \/>\nJack Cust*: 17.3 BB%, 125 wRC+, 32 yo<\/p>\n<p>What do you guys think? Are these &#8220;random&#8221; minimums making this exercise pointless? Should we have parameters that are saber-smarter? Oh yeah, and please let me know if we missed anyone.<\/p>\n<p>*One more thing on Jack Cust, here are the Career BB% Leaders over the past 25 years, min 500 PA&#8217;s:<\/p>\n<p>1. Barry Bonds: 20.3%<br \/>\n2. Jack Clark: 20.1%<br \/>\n3. Ken Phelps: 18.1%<br \/>\n4.
