\"Juan<\/a>El 13 de junio se cumplen 48 a\u00c3\u00b1os del no hit no run de Juan Marichal sobre el equipo de los Colt 45 de Houston. ese dia Juan demostr\u00c3\u00b3 todo su potencial como futuro Hall de la fama.<\/p>\n

Ese dia Marichal subi\u00c3\u00b3 al monticulo con una racha de 5 victorias en fila y termino el juego con 5 ponches. al final de la temporada Marichal termino con record de 25-8 y y 2.42 de efectividad y un tope de 248 ponches.en 321.1 inning lanzados. el competi\u00c3\u00b3 el liderato de victorias con sandy Koufax.<\/p>\n

Al final de la temporada Marichal fue un indiscutible astro de su equipo. De los ocho derrotas Marichal sufri\u00c3\u00b3 durante la temporada \u00e2\u20ac\u212263, cuatro de ellos fueron contra el futuro Sal\u00c3\u00b3n de la Fama. Los otros dos fueron Warren Spahn de los Bravos de Milwaukee y Don Drysdale, de los Dodgers.<\/p>\n

Marichal gan\u00c3\u00b3 m\u00c3\u00a1s de 20 juegos en cinco de las pr\u00c3\u00b3ximas seis temporadas. Para su carrera, un r\u00c3\u00a9cord de 243-142 y tuvo una efectividad de 2.89.<\/p>\n

Desde el debut de Willie Mays,ningun pelotero hab\u00c3\u00ada logrado crear la expectativa que motivo la primera presentacion de este gran lanzador dominicano. puedo asegurar sin temor a equivocarme que el 90% del publico que asistio al estadio universitario fue a ver lanzar al gran serpentinero quisqueyano;todo un espectaculo,levantando su piena izquierda a la altura de la gorra,para impulsarse al hacer sus lanzamientos.<\/p>\n

Pero Marichal exploto y la polvora la puso un callado pero rendidor outfielder venezolano,ya fallecido,llamado leopoldo tovar, quien le bateo de 2-2. Marichal domino a los tiburones de la guaira durante 5 inning,auque no con su efectividad acostumbrada,ya que le habian anotado dos carreras y el juego,cuando se iba a cerrar la segunda del sexto,se hallaba empatado a dos carreras por lado. en esa entrada marichal brinda la ultima muestra de dominio,al entregar el primer out Dave Roberts con fly al centel field. inmeditamente comienxa el bombardeo : Aparicio y lou Johnson hitean de ca\u00c3\u00b1onazo al center,Weatherspoon al Left, leo Tovar al center y Anger Bravo de roletazo encima de la segunda base.<\/p>\n

Esto fue todo para el gran Marichal a quien ni en Las mayores le hab\u00c3\u00adan conectado 5 hits de forma consecutiva. Marichal declaraba posteriormente: “las curvas no respondieron y la velocidad no la utilice”. tambien comento :” No las tuve todas conmigo” y a la clasica pregunta de : \u00c2\u00bfquien le resulto el bateador mas dif\u00c3\u00adcil? respondi\u00c3\u00b3 sin titubeos: “Leopoldo Tovar. Ese muchacho tiene clase”.<\/p>\n

De esta manera nos brindo Juan Marichal un momento inolvidable para nuestro b\u00c3\u00a9isbol,aunque con un sabor muy amargo para el y porque no,para una gran mayor\u00c3\u00ada. Cabe destacar tambi\u00c3\u00a9n que este encuentro significo la primera presentaci\u00c3\u00b3n de Orestes Mi\u00c3\u00b1oso en Caracas,jugando como jardinero izquierdo y bateando de sexto,defendiendo los colores de los “Leones” del Escogido de la Republica Dominicana.<\/p>\n
