Belmonte, who says he has been involved in the signing of about 1,600 players in the last two decades, is putting together what he calls the Independent League Prospect Tournament <\/strong>for February 25-March 4 at Al Lang Field <\/strong>in St. Petersburg<\/strong>, FL<\/strong>, where major league teams such as the Yankees <\/strong>and Cardinals <\/strong>played their exhibition games for decades.
