The best candidate to end up the first week of the season looking like Mr. Ideal<\/strong> would seem to be Newark\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Daryle Ward<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 The 34-year-old with more major league games (948) than minor league contests (796) drove in 10 runs in the Bears\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 first three games against Camden<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 The lefty hitter, who has been with six National League <\/strong>teams, went 8-for-13 (.615) with a double and two homers.<\/p>\n

Atlantic Leaguers Go Back to Back<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Brian Stavisky<\/strong> and Brandon Pinckney <\/strong>put on what could be called an all-Pennsylvania <\/strong>show over the weekend.\u00c2\u00a0 Stavisky, who formerly played for Lancaster<\/strong>, and Pinckney, who had been at York, <\/strong>hit back to back home runs in a game in Reading<\/strong>.\u00c2\u00a0 They play in Philadelphia\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <\/strong>farm system. <\/strong><\/p>\n
