catcher <strong>John Pachot<\/strong> has meant to the <strong>Revolution.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>York had whittled its magic number for clinching its initial <strong>Freedom <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seamheads.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/atlantic.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5846\" title=\"atlantic\" src=\"http:\/\/www.seamheads.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/atlantic.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"134\" height=\"144\" \/><\/a>Division<\/strong> first half title\u00e2\u20ac\u201dand only its second of any kind\u00e2\u20ac\u201ddown to two entering Tuesday\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s home game against <strong>Long Island<\/strong> with the enviable cushion of knowing five more home games remain if they are needed before the Revolution eliminate two-time defending champion <strong>Somerset.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Where would <strong>Andy Etchebarren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s <\/strong>club be if Pachot had not returned from <strong>Mexico <\/strong>early in the season and eventually taken over the fulltime catching duties once <strong>Salomon Manriquez <\/strong>was traded to <strong>Lancaster. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong>Here is the stunning fact of what the 35-year-old backstop has meant.\u00c2\u00a0 York is 22-5 in games he has caught, an unheard of .815 winning percentage.\u00c2\u00a0 The Revolution is only 16-21 (.432) when anyone other than the <strong>Puerto Rican <\/strong>native is behind the plate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span members.\u00c2\u00a0 Lancaster swept <strong>Southern Maryland<\/strong> Monday as second-place <strong>Camden<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>was doing the same against <strong>Somerset<\/strong>, cutting the <strong>Blue Crabs\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 <\/strong>lead back to a single game.\u00c2\u00a0 Lancaster, which has won 11 of its last 17, had taken two of three from Camden last <\/strong>before the <strong>Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim <\/strong>purchased the right-hander for its top farm club in <strong>Salt Lake City<\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>Junge, who pitched for <strong>Bridgeport<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>for a time in 2007, went 2-1, 3.08, but had 36 strikeouts in 26.1 innings at Lancaster, including a franchise-record 13 K\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s in one game.
