“What’s On Second: The Seamheads.com Radio Hour” Launches Tonight

After a year or two of kicking the idea around, we’ve finally decided to pull the trigger and launch our very own podcast – “What’s On Second: The Seamheads.com Radio Hour.”  The show will be hosted by Steve Lenox, former Aberdeen IronBirds play-by-play man and host of XM Satellite Radio’s “MLB Home Plate” and “XM Sports Nation,” and current Lexycaster at Lexy.com.  I, Mike Lynch, author and founder of Seamheads.com, will serve as co-host.

The show will air on BlogTalkRadio.com every Monday night from 11:00 PM-Midnight Eastern (8:00-9:00 PM Pacific) and will eventually be available to download from iTunes.  Archives of each podcast will also be available at Blog Talk Radio to listen to at your convenience.

On tonight’s show, Steve and I will pay tribute to legendary broadcaster Ernie Harwell, who recently passed away at 92.  Coming on to talk about Ernie will be Tom Keegan, Sports Editor of the Lawrence Journal-World in Kansas, and author of Harwell’s biography, Ernie Harwell: My 60 Years In Baseball.  We’ll also discuss Hall of Fame hurler Robin Roberts, among other things.
