SHL: My Apologies
February 12, 2009 by Mike Lynch · Leave a Comment
The next time you check the box scores and standings from the Seamheads Historical League, you may notice that things somehow changed from games 39-44. The Pirates had a nine-game lead this morning and suddenly it’s down to three even though no new games have been played, and the players’ stats have mysteriously changed. That’s because I screwed up last night and had to replay those five games. I’m not going to go into details except to say that I’m embarrassed by what happened and I’ll do my best to ensure it never happens again. My apologies go out to all of the GMs, especially Curt Schilling who watched his nine-game lead evaporate because of my mistake, and anyone else this unfortunate incident may have affected.
